WHO ARE WE
NAOCC LIFE FLIGHT SERVICES LIMITED ‘ARCH ANGEL” is the leading aeromedical operations and communications center air ambulance central coordination Project and agency in St. Lucia conceptualized and founded by a local team of concerned citizens lead by a graduate EMS Specialist and Paramedic with 35 years experience in the emergency medical field and Prehospital Emergency Medical Service environment combined, and who studied at and was trained at New York State University Erie Communty College City Campus in 1997 and subsequently the American National Association of EMS Educators (NAEMSE) as an internationally registered and certified EMS Educator.
The team comprises a number of trained and internationally qualified individuals in varying aspects of Prehospital Emergency Medical Services, EMS Education, Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis (DANA), IDA, Mass Casualty Management who saw the need to act due to lessons learnt during and after Hurricane "TOMAS".
Hurricane TOMAS taught a major lesson to the island and saw the southern towns especially the town of Soufriere cut off from the rest of the island by motorable roads and only accessible by Sea and air, with such lessons the "ARCH ANGEL PROJECT" team spent the past 11 years planning and having discussions with St. Lucia Helicopters on the island to come up with a plan to develop a service which can assist with providing an aerial response group in the absence of established standards to augment the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) post disaster response to future occurrences thereby seeking to develop, build, and improve local capacity. Having engaged the Ministry of External Affairs, International Trade and Civil Aviation on June 19, 2023, the mission to operationalize the "ARCH ANGEL PROJECT" vision commenced.
With an unmatched standard of conceptualization, planning and service delivery expertise and the first in aeromedical operations and communications on the island, medical and communication specialists in the field, we at NAOCC seek to set the standard in the aeromedical operations and communications environment in the medical industry in St. Lucia.
We assist and coordinate aeromedical transport for a very large number of patients each year from our central location in the country, all while offering services to local communities and leading healthcare systems. Our mission is simple: move communities to health while maintaining the highest standard of safety, always, no exceptions.
